Carole's History:
"My story really starts about a dozen years ago... I was an independent insurance agent working with the real estate investment industry, specializing with helping women-owned businesses navigate needs for insurance.
But in addition I did much of the bookkeeping and insurance work for my husband's 40-year dental practice with 3 offices. We never had the right partner to guide us on running our business profitably, and stumbled on staying confused. Even so, our vision began to evolve, and we looked beyond general dentistry, at sleep and other important areas of health so needed for our clients.
Then unfortunately my husband was in an accident... but we hadn’t adequately planned, and some major blind spots were revealed. Our disability coverage was inadequate and we hadn’t built a strong enough foundation financially. Eventually we sold the practice (and my husband's dreams) under less than ideal circumstances.
That experience caused me to look into working within the financial industry, but never found a company that cared to actually help in a way I believed to be meaningful. Some promised to help with the bottom line, but many times did not take into account what the company was all about. As ever, the vision to help others never faded.
Then a few years ago, I was lucky enough to find a different model existed vs the one with a predetermined outcome. Instantly I gravitated towards this, because it instilled learning about a company FIRST, and then seeing how they can be helped with tools and services available to me. Long story short, I stormed forth with financial services, CK Rose & Associates was created, and my knowledge is here for the taking! My passion for helping businesses came from my own experiences, and making our “mess”, my message.
p.s. I’m happy to say my husband found a new passion in teaching. He teaches at dentistryand has since written a book, hoping to do his part. Cheers to Paul!"
